Cuts 4 Christ

On October 31, 2024, Cuts4Christ participated in the annual Day of Joy event on the Bangor Waterfront. Throughout the day, a group of professional hair stylists offered free haircuts to event participants.

Overall, Cuts4Christ was able to provide haircutting and styling services to over 70 individuals. It was incredibly rewarding to see the smiles and confidence boost in everyone who participated.

The generosity of the volunteers not only provided much-needed services but also made a significant difference in the lives of those who may not have access to salon services. It’s a beautiful way to give back to the community and help individuals feel valued and cared for. The before and after transformations were particularly impressive -- how something so seemingly insignificant as a haircut can boost self-confidence and inspire others.

Events like this really highlight the power of community and the importance of self-care.
