Use Your God given Talents and Skills to Restore Dignity and Hope.
Cuts 4 Christ outreach events are contingent upon the willingness of hairstylists and barbers to volunteer their time and talents. Insufficient numbers of stylists can result in event cancellations, thereby leading to missed opportunities to serve.
Your skills can provide confidence, dignity, and relief to those who lack access to professional hair care.
What You Can Expect
We strive to create an organized, welcoming environment where volunteers feel supported. Equipment and supplies are coordinated in advance, and events are structured to ensure a smooth and respectful experience for everyone involved.
- Flexible event schedule
- Supportive volunteer team
- Organized setup
- Meaningful community impact
Cuts for Christ provides the majority of haircutting supplies; however, participants must furnish their own clippers.
Missions Outreach Locations
Cuts 4 Christ partners with churches and community organizations throughout the region to host outreach events.
We travel to several communities to provide our services, including but not limited to Ellsworth, Levant, Bangor, Brewer, and Old Town, and are always looking to expand our reach into other areas to serve more people in need of our services.
Loaves and Fishes in Ellsworth- the 2nd Wednesday every month
Levant Harvest Chapel Church- The 3rd Tuesday
The Barn in Brewer- the last Thursday every OTHER month
We have worked with several other communities in Bangor. Times vary
Ready to Serve?
If you are a hair stylist or barber and feel called to use your skills to serve others, we would love to connect with you.
We also welcome additional volunteers who are not hairstylists but would like to support our outreach by offering Bibles, helping with event activities, or simply engaging in friendly conversation with those we serve.
Your time and talent can make a lasting difference in lives.
